Today’s tip is all about Facebook:

Marketing on Facebook is fairly easy, but there are several different
ways to go about it. The easiest way is by setting up fan pages, so that
people can click the “like” button and follow your updates.

It’s important that your fan page has a purpose if you want it to be
successful. You must have a specific plan for your pages because
people won’t click that button unless they like what they see.

Once you have created a great looking fan page make sure that you
regularly post tips, gifts and links to videos on the page to keep people
coming back to read and comment often. You can even run contest to
encourage participation.

If you are stuck for ideas just login to your Facebook account and do a
search for your top keywords and see what others in your market are
doing on their fan pages.

That’s it for today’s tip. Look for your next tip soon!

When it comes to social media marketing the most important thing you
should do is to spend time socializing.

This should be obvious, but too many marketers skip this vital
component when using social media to advertise their wares.

While it may take a bit of time to socialize, it is an important step of the
process, because people aren’t willing to pay attention to you and your
marketing messages if they don’t know who you are.

You must make sure that you socialize with your friends fans and
followers, especially if you want them to respond to your marketing
message.

Think about it this way for a minute.

- Who would you trust more?

- The opinion of your friend, family, coworker

- Or the opinion of salesperson you just met.

The simple fact is that people will be much more likely to buy what
you recommend if they trust you and you can earn their trust by
socializing with them, letting them get to know you, only recommending
quality products and posting useful information on a regular basis.

That’s it for today’s tip. Look for your next tip soon!

Today’s tip is all about shifting your focus:

When it comes to successful social marketing one of the biggest
mistakes that many marketers make is that they are too focused on
making money and not enough on socializing. As an end result they
unknowingly spam their followers which often ends up in getting your
posts ignored, blocked or even banned.

When it comes to social marketing it’s very important that you use
social networks as they were intended (to socialize), especially if you
want to see any real results from your efforts.

Always remember to socialize first and promote second! When you do
this you will have no problem attracting hundreds, maybe even
thousands of happy fans, friends and followers that will be interested in
what you have to offer!

That’s it for today’s tip! Make sure you look for your next tip soon and
thank you.

Free Traffic Is Not Free

by James Johnson

in Uncategorized

The best kind of traffic is free traffic, I think we can all agree on that.

There’s just this one little problem: Free traffic isn’t free.

At least, in most cases it isn’t.

If you’ve ever tried to rank for anything but the crummiest of low-traffic keywords in Google, you might have had a frustrating experience. Just optimizing your website certainly won’t get you there (and unless you’re in the top spots, you won’t see hardly any traffic).

So, you need to build backlinks, right? That’s what gets sites ranked in the big G. But if you go and submit a few articles, maybe do some social bookmarking and put your signature in a forum or two, that still doesn’t get your site anywhere near the top…

If you want to get sites ranked in the top spots in Google, you need some automation tools. It’s just a fact. You can’t build thousands of backlinks manually and unless you build thousands of backlinks, you won’t get good rankings.

And that’s why free traffic isn’t free.

Good link-building automation tools cost a fortune, often in the form of monthly subscription fees.

And so, to get a good amount of “free” traffic, you need to invest quite a lot of money.

But that’s about to change…

Backlink Battleplan is a system that teaches you  how to build backlinks  and it’s all about getting tons of top-quality backlinks, getting them automatically and getting them for free!

Getting The Most Of Your Article Submissions

by Allison Thompson

in Uncategorized

An important part of any site’s SEO is backlinks. There is still remaining 1 very easy way of getting a huge amount of backlinks for your site and it is writing articles and submitting them to article directories.

In this article yes im doing what i preach check me out! I will give you the top 5 tips on how to use article submissions more effectively. Dont just create article blindly and submit them to the wrong places. Instead follow my top 5 easy tips heres the tips.

Article submission Tips

1. Unique Articles

When i put unique articles i mean each directory you submit to gets a unique article. Only creating 1 article with a few words changed here and there, this wont do. If you would like to spin the article. Dont be lazy spin articles properly not automatically with software that uses dictionaries , they often produce rubbish articles that dont make sense.

2. Link Text

As you are aware the benefits of using article directories to host your articles is that you can have a link to your site with the link text of your choice. This is when most people come unstuck. Dont put out 150 articles with the same link text. This is what Google hates and sticks out like a sore thumb as someone trying to alter search results artificially. Make it look natural throw in the odd click here or check this out, dont make it look too over optimised.

3. Quality Quality Quality Quality Quality

Dont just keep the good stuff for your website. You probably always put up good quality articles on your own site and put up bad or lower quality articles on Article directories. If the article is good quality and therefore has a lower bounce rate Google is more likely to count the backlink. so treat others the way you would like to be treated.

4. Grammar, Spelling.

there’s nothing more worse then spending hours writing articles for them to only get rejected for poor spelling and grammar. You would of wasted your time when you could of been doing other SEO tasks. So simply spell check everything or pass the aricle to a friend or partner to skim over and proof read.

5. Outsource, Outsource

The old saying why have a dog and bark yourself. Article submission is a time consuming task which you could outsource, with sites like Elance.com may cost you up to $110 a month to get outsourced. Which is for me money well spent, even while I sleep people are building links to my site.
